Mercy Hospital Complex, we have always emphasized providing services to
the whole individual rather than focus on a particular problem or issue. The
individual and their families are always included in the diagnostic and
rehabilitation process. This results in the patient feeling an Integral part of
the decision making process giving way to an empowered, viable and satisfied individual.
Our practice delivers diagnostic and rehabilitative services to all ages and
strives to reach all economic sectors of our community. Our hearing aid
practice emerged from a desire to provide services to our patients in
an efficient and timely fashion. This is turn has made Miami Hearing and
Speech Center the first choice of the community for diagnostic
Audiological, hearing aid and rehabilitation services.
Miami Hearing and Speech Center has emerged, in conjunction, with Mercy Hospital,
as the premier provider of audiological and hearing aid services to Latin America and
the Caribbean. This allows our Latin American and Caribbean neighbors to benefit
from the most advanced diagnostic services. They can also experience the latest in
hearing aid technology, such as digital hearing aids.
Although our main focus is the diagnosis of audiological and
neuro-otological problems we also provide complete evaluation and
treatment of balance disorders. These services are provided on the premises by an
Occupational therapist. This follows along with our philosophy of
treating the whole individual rather than just one part or problem.
